Biblical Worldview: Christianity does not provide religious truth; Christianity is total truth (Nancy Pearcey, Total Truth). The difference is monumental in determining whether Christians live compartmentalized lives or lives centered, infused, and completely consumed with Christ and this truth.

No Hiding: No Christian can hide behind the excuse, “That’s just the way that I am.” Is not the Holy Spirit in you? Does that not count for something? Is he not really real?
Chew on What You Read: Who cares how many books that you have read this year!
Quote by John Maxwell: I often look for books at Goodwill. They are cheap and you can find some gems. However, I have a hard rule: Don’t buy it if you are not really going to read it. In other words, don’t just add a book to the shelf if it is not a serious contender for reading. Yesterday I found this book: Everyone Communicates, Few Connect: What the Most Effective People Do Differently. It was published in 2010. I read a few pages and a few lines really stood out.
“Everyone talks. Everyone communicates. But few connect.”
“I do things because I want to add value to people.”
“Talk is easy. Everybody talks. The question is, how can you make your words count.”
“If you want to succeed, you must learn how to connect with others.”
