I share this to say that the true tragedy, at least in my estimation, is not the loss of a conservative voice, but the inability of a country to love, value, and engage with those who are different than us.

The purpose of this post is not to endorse Kamala Harris or promote a vote for the Democratic party. Rather, I want to address the intense and, at times, idolatrous affection that some conservative Christians—especially on the far right—are showing for Donald Trump.
