Daily Post #2

Chasing a Dream: Chasing a dream can kill you. Yet, you might feel that it is impossible to stop. For the Christian, this might be a sign that the dream really is something God has put in your heart since it seems to grip you more than you hold it (of course, this is not always true). That being said, following Jesus Christ might require giving up dreams that are good for the path that He desires (Proverbs 16:1, Proverbs 16:9). Whatever the case, chasing a dream can be both exciting and brutally painful.

Concerning Technology: I wonder if we cannot “unplug” because we have an oversized sense of our own importance. People can probably get along fine without us for a day. Consider not looking at a screen for an entire day. This is one reason I will never have a Daily Post on Sunday! Soul detox.

Reading: Have you ever read a book by C.S. Lewis? No? Let me recommend one!
