Discovering a resource that deepens and enriches my understanding of the Bible always fills me with enthusiasm. It’s particularly rewarding when such a source offers a comprehensive, bird’s-eye perspective, bringing clarity and insight to my studies. If you want to dig deep into a passage, you need to know the broader context in which that passage is situated. Breadth and depth are tied together.
A friend with a PhD in Systematic Theology from the University of Aberdeen recommended a source to me the other day that is already precious to me. It is so simple but helpful. I keep it right beside my Bible. My copy arrived two days ago and I am having trouble putting it down!
