I share this to say that the true tragedy, at least in my estimation, is not the loss of a conservative voice, but the inability of a country to love, value, and engage with those who are different than us.

Without an infinite-personal God—like the one revealed in Christianity—what possible foundation exists for objective moral rights? None. A godless universe may allow for preferences or social conventions, but not for inherent rights.
